Thanks but I know about the magnifier. I was wondering if anyone had used just the rubber eye cap that was used on old Nikons etc. I am wondering if one would fit under the eye correction diode.

You're not reading. The eyecup has nothing to do with a magnifier. It is a screw in rubber eyecup read the first paragraph.

Match Technical is a great choice as far as eyecups go; they come in two sizes. I believe certain Nikon eyecups also fit, but I forgot the size offhand.
