While there's some doubt due to the recent halt to production by Fotokemika, ADOX will supposedly be releasing a new film called Silvermax at Photokina. Notice it says "Made in Germany" (and not Croatia). This is great news in any event, and I hope we get to see it!

...and don't get too hung up on promises of "high silver content." ;)

ADOX SILVERMAX

SILVERMAX has an increased silver-content compared to regular films. This enables it to build up twice as much DMAX and reproduce up to 14 zones in our dedicated SILVERMAX Developer.

This way SILVERMAX catches it all for you: brightest highlights and deepest shadows. SILVERMAX is incredibly sharp due to its anti-halation layer between the emulsion and the base.

The detail contrast is enhanced by this as well.

SILVERMAX features an extremely fine grain, comparable to tabular-crystal films.

High speed and covering effect comes from the high silver content.

SILVERMAX is coated onto clear triacetate and can be reversal processed.

Made in Germany.

Film base made in Germany by Agfa.
APX-emulsion made in Germany By Afga.
Base coated with emulsion in Croatia by Fotokemika.
Film cutted and packed i Germany by Adox.

This makes for me more "made in Germany" than "made in Croatia?" And "high silver content" says that the film must be coated by an older process that makes thicker layer. Only Fotokemika has machines wich can make such thicker layer. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe right?
