DIY M9 and Hermes Edition with Lego

If the steep $50k USD price tag of an M9 Hermes Edition is too much for your budget, check out Halifax, Nova Scotia-based photographer Chris McVeigh's Lego projects which include the plan using 114 LEGO pieces. He's releasing similar plans for a more traditional looking black M9 later today and plans to sell both as kits via his online shop.

Voigtländer 50mm f/1.5 Nokton Aspherical Announced

Over on DC Watch you can see pictures of the new Cosina/Voightländer 50mm f/1.5 Nokton Aspherical in an M mount. You may recall the previous LTM version which many are quite fond of - especially for B&W. The optics are reportedly unchanged, which is great news (check out the Nokton 50mm/1.5 Flickr group). This new version appears mechanically built very similar to the original of the 1950s. Read more below for the full specs and update!
