If the steep $50k USD price tag of an M9 Hermes Edition is too much for your budget, check out Halifax, Nova Scotia-based photographer Chris McVeigh's Lego projects which include the plan using 114 LEGO pieces. He's releasing similar plans for a more traditional looking black M9 later today and plans to sell both as kits via his online shop.

During the Super Bowl here in the U.S.A., a car commercial for the new Lincoln was aired - and for better or worse, showed possibly two Leica bodies. One can't be identified (but it's silver) and the other is clearly an M9... With live view? In any event, enjoy.

Over on DC Watch you can see pictures of the new Cosina/Voightländer 50mm f/1.5 Nokton Aspherical in an M mount. You may recall the previous LTM version which many are quite fond of - especially for B&W. The optics are reportedly unchanged, which is great news (check out the Nokton 50mm/1.5 Flickr group). This new version appears mechanically built very similar to the original of the 1950s. Read more below for the full specs and update!
